Volunteer
Volunteers are always welcome and they are a critical part of our organization. We try to place people in positions they will enjoy. If you have a special skill or talent, we would love to know about it. Here are some of the Volunteer Opportunities at this point:
- Record special events with camcorder;
- Take digital pictures of chapter events;
- Set up and/or take down chairs and tables for meetings or events;
- Send out Public Service Announcements;
- Help with bulk mailings;
- Put labels on brochures with our contact information;
- Help at Health Fairs (usually a 2 hour commitment/health fair);
- Help with individual fund raisers: Night of Encores; Golf Tournaments; Walks, etc.;
- Work on the Local Newsletter: Write articles; Help with the layout of the newsletter; Proof read the articles; Complete the bulk mailing final details;
- Distribute informational brochures throughout the community;
- Pick up supplies;
- Help set up and take down our canopy at local events;
- Serve on a committee;
- Serve on our Board of Directors.
